Got both of my kits cleaned up (which didn't take much work at all - this thing is sharp!) and primed.

Before I go through the work of making a set of templates to mask the 72 panels that need to be black, has anyone else already done so? Or did you guys Tamiya tape each one individually? Or (gasp) paint by hand?
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!

Yeah, the old ones looked boring, so why not change them.

I painted black, over-sprayed with future, and then masked off with yellow tape of varying brands. Tedious, but effective. Some bleed-thru from the Haze Gray, but I touched that up easy enough with a steady brush.
