Getting ready to send the marauder corvette for print in 1/2256 and 1/4222 scales. Has elements for the corvette and the missile variant...

Very nice job. May I ask what software do you use for creating the mesh?

I use Autodesk 3ds Max (which is really for 3d graphics). I would like to learn Autodesk Inventor which is more oriented to 3d part creation but I haven't found the time. You can get free Autodesk software under their education program if you have a ".edu" mail address.

Thanks for the info... I'm not absuletely unfamiliar with 3DS Max, but will never get to this level of designing. As 3D printing remains a dream of distant future for poor modelers here in Hungary, it seems I have plenty of time to master my skills... :-)

Prints came in last night and look great. Thanks to Nick for helping me find an excellent printer to do this one justice. I should have resin casts in Mos Espa in the next week or two. Pics coming.
