Nice. I really like the red panel. It makes a nice bridge between the Empire and First Order.

Thanks guys. This was a fun build despite the paint problems, and I really like the look of this ship. Definitely recommended when Del gets around to reissuing it.

Looks great

This is my favorite of the tie variants beyond the ones seen in the original films
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

Love the TFA red stripe. Great paint job!

Looks amazing!
Maybe the red stripe signifies "Ace" status?

Maybe, but my thoughts were that it is late Empire Special Forces, before it morphed into the FO.

This looks really great! I like the bigger ball on it. I like it with the smaller ball too, but always thought the wings looked HUGE that way.

Also, I don't quite like the red part on the Special Forces TIE from TFA - but here it looks cool! Probably because it seems to serve a purpose in surrounding the Imperial logo, whereas on the SF TIE it just seems like JJ said "put a red part there, it'll be cool."
