Critique Corner Rules

This is a place where specific feedback should be given, if asked for. We trust that everyone will behave and not get personal. This is a place for OVERARCHING OBJECTIVITY, TENACIOUS TECHNICALITIES, CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM, and WITTY WEATHERING WAYS.

If you want help/feedback/critique on ANYTHING, this is the place.

When posting, be specific about what you want feedback on.

Need to know how to better control your pigments? Post and ask.
Airbrushing methods not making you smile? Post and ask.
"Would my build benefit from xyz?"
"I'm experimenting with this so-and-so technique. What do you think?"
"Is my shade of blue correct?"
"What can I do to take better pics?"

Cool? Cool.

I think it's a great idea to have this section of the forum!

Having gotten a BFA in metalsmithing/painting and sitting through many, many critiques I am used to learning from and using peoples comments on my work to help better it

I appreciate the praise, but I also appreciate being told when something could be improved, and more specifically how or why they think so. Sometimes it may be personal taste, but often it is good to get a non-biased eye.
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

Ditto! I have a BFA in painting and printmaking and an MFA in media arts... ;) Let's hope we can refrain from making anybody cry (man there are some sensitive grad students out there...)
