1/72 E-Wing (bandai resistance X-wing conversion)

Postby Atlast93 » January 5th, 2019, 6:49 am

I was frustrated on my way home from work today that there is no longer an E-Wing kit on the market so I hatched this idea... I've never scratch built anything so this may end up in the trash, but here's an attempt at the least! :P

A quick little mockup with the wings attached. That'll be all I get to do until I get back from my business trip.

I like the idea. Looks like it would be an E-Wing MKIII?

It is starting to look like a mix between the mkIII and the original from dark empire. It's definitely not going to be super accurate, but it will still look pretty neat if I do it right.

Cool conversion!
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

I happen to know a guy who sells the Dark Empire version in 1/72, but I like what you're doing with this kitbash.

Well, since you asked  , - http://www.mvmodels.biz/kesselrun.asp#echofighter. I changed the name, which is probably why you didn't find it when you searched. Stu Pidasso aka "The Jimi" made the MkII which is also an excellent kit, but I don't think he has that one available right now. I really do like what you're doing here, so please continue. ;)
