I Love that kit he made.

Definitely interested in picking that Echo Fighter as well. Need to gather some funds one of these days so I can grab one!

I'm glad that I managed to get one, and the MkII version as well. So many resin kits that I've missed....

Looking good!
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

I like how you're coming along with this. Should look fantastic side-by-side with a MkI and a MkII. Are you planning to attach that completely ridiculous canon above the cockpit, or are you going for a streamlined look without it? I think it looks good the way it is.

Thanks again guys!

I actually do want to put that cannon on top, BUT only if I can make it make sense as far as placement and the ability for a pilot to get in and out. I was thinking about slapping some pieces together on one side that make the cannon appear to "lean out" to one side when the cockpit opens.

In my imagination I just believe that it pivots out of the way for the canopy to open, but it's still impractical to me for it fire directly above the pilot's head.

The cannon can slide back - or the cockpit can slide forward instead of flipping up, that way the cannon can be a grab bar to help him get out of the cockpit!

Here's my solution to the Classic E Wing and the MkII:

Classic has a section with the gun mounted on top that opens:

And here's that section carved out and finished to have a droid inserted behind the cockpit:

MkII slides forward (and I shortened the gun significantly):

And, yeah, I know the port wing gun and cockpit gun looks crooked. The port gun is, and I haven't gotten around to fixing it. The top gun isn't, it's a trick of the photo. Or maybe it is in this photo, and I fixed it but don't remember doing it! (More likely.)
