Re: 1/72 V-Wing

One of my favourite fighter of the prequel ! Nice painting Del, can't wait to see it weathered ! Not going to weather it. Slave1's build has fantastic weathering if you haven't already followed that link I provided. Sorry for the delay. Got ready for Thanksgiving and then the grandkids gave some so...

I really never liked this droid crawler, but since seeing your workmanship, now I want one. 8-)

Re: 1/72 V-Wing

I was inspired some months ago when I saw the original Fantastic Plastic kit built by Slave1, and his thread is located here https://www.keeperoftheforce.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1925&p=20979#p20979 . I decided to go with subtle two-tone winglets as Slave1 did. They're still glossy so there's a bit o...

I like the V wing a lot. Pity it did not get much time on screen. I love that you are putting out a kit for it.

Your 1/60 scratchbuild is simply fantastic. 8-) Inspiring really. All I did here was try to make this old kit a little better before re-releasing it.

Re: 1/72 V-Wing

Got primer and base paint applied to some of the parts. Base paint is white with a very light amount of Royal Light Grey at a ratio of about 16 to 1. Drilled out the cannon about 1mm deep, but might use a larger bit to increase the diameter as they appear to be a little small to me. Ready to tape fo...

Great seeing these kits being produced again! Any idea of pricing?

Not sure about pricing yet, but it's smaller than most of the other 1/72 scale ships I sell, so probably a little less than those.

1/72 V-Wing

Finally I'm getting to some of the backlog of kits, and the V-Wing is next. Changes to this kit since Fantastic Plastic : - - - - - New canopy with vacu-formed insert. Will also supply the original canopy as opaque resin for those who don't like working with vacu-formed plastic or who don't want to ...

Re: So I tried to fix the shittiest SW Ship...

I clicked on this link hoping and praying it wasn't one of my kits LOL  I don't think I've ever heard your kits described that way. Kottlewski, I never noticed how poorly designed the original version was until seeing your improved version next to it. The modifications provide a backstory that...
