Re: 1/72 TIE Crawler

Great stuff.
This is a lesson for me, my design has my style rather than a Star Wars style.

Re: Tie Bomber 1/72 Scratch Build

Thanks
I am still after some decals. I ordered some but never came.
Might have to buy a 1/72 x wing or something to get a decal sheet.

Re: Tie Bomber 1/72 Scratch Build

I have managed to do a bit on the bomber. Going to try and get this finished now.
It will be / is captured and now in rebel hands (dirty, grim, well used with yellow flash).

3d Print Data For Sale

Any 3d Print interest here? I have 3d data for my Tie Scimitar. I would be interested in letting the .STL files go to a collective, min 5 people at £30 each. I tried to shift it on Kickstarter but that failed. If it went to a collective here, and generated a fair total, I wouldn't need to be concer...

Re: Tie Bomber 1/72 Scratch Build

I haven't been around for a while and the summer months let me work on the big Eagle (Space 1999).
I went to Telford IPMS..... Ended up with a couple of 1/72 models but have picked up the Bomber to do a bit.

Re: Tie Bomber 1/72 Scratch Build

A mate of mine has printed the files at 200% - 1/36th.
They don't look to shabby; I haven't seen them yet. A bit of fun but too much clean up for me though.

Re: Tie Bomber 1/72 Scratch Build

A kit, never say never but I worry the quality is hobby guy and not professional (meeting expectations might be hard me).
I have retooled the inner wing parts today; we will see how that goes.

Thanks for the positive interest.

Re: Tie Bomber 1/72 Scratch Build

Really pleased I decided to tool a few parts. The wings (the parts I needed to tool) came out great but one snapped on demould and one has a small bubble. The small wing mount I tooled just because it has a bit of detail. The wing body part - rubbish - the tool ripped on demoulding the master and th...

Re: Art Installation - Deathstar

Bought some resin and pigment. Was aiming for a beige grey; black is better than beige though. My focus was on another model.
