I tried to post the image from page 4 of this thread. The weathering is top notch! I just wonder how it is done, as I hav...

Re: scale questions (new here so hopefully in the right plac
Sure, using the measurements on your shapeways site I came up with this:
1/144 Phantom in CM
8.718 x 7.098 x 6.165
1/44 gunboat in cm
10.252 x 5.471 x 11.332
Thanks!

Re: scale questions (new here so hopefully in the right plac
Gosric,
For the Crow at 1/144, it would be 12.85 cm long, about five inches. Thank you for doing that for me!
On some other forum, I worked out the phantom scale, and can do so for the gunboat too.
Best

HOLY CRAP! JUMPING JANGO FETT ON A POGO STICK! Great job my friend! You are so welcome for the kit! Glad I could both "save the stash" from Allen, and that you made a decent kit out of it. Del. This kit has some major issues. Maybe not YOURS, no.... but this one- yes. Mr. Wong is a very talented man...

Thanks,
Yours was my inspiration (well, yours and ILMs). So, do you think I "fixed" my skirt? If not-- any more tips?

Re: 1/144 Slave I (help needed)
Update: Went back over a bit with the base color, and did a light brown/black pin wash-- I think the skirt looks about as good as I can get it. With the hull added, I think it looks a lot more like the Slave 1 that I want it to: [img]<table%20style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a%20href="https://picasaweb....

Re: 1/144 Slave I (help needed)
True that RKnight. Thanks all for your help. I took a break, and then came back to it. First: I sanded the hull down to a shine, and airbrushed the base color: (pic bad, sorry-- but on the right you can see what I mean) https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/PutcprEGS-BhjyRX_tDmj9MTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm...
