I've got my pre-order with HLJ for the X-Wing and TIE Advanced. I'm really not anticipating anything super duper. From the looks of the images the panel lines are HUGE and almost toy like and the parts breakdown is really odd. AS SOON AS they're in hand I'll post whatever review I can make of them ...

Well the water turned out to be about 3cm deep (which is a lot more resin than you might think). Anyway, I used Water Effects to create waves, which covered the marks.
