Re: Ep VII Title

I'm still on the fence about the title....but it is just a title. What comes after the title is what I'm most interested in.

Re: T-47 Seaspeeder (FM conversion)

New problem, after removing the sidewalls, there was a lot of flash (where the water had crept up the sides. Cutting it was the only option, but it now looks bad. Any thoughts?

I like the progress photos. I understand what you did, but I can't believe how clean it looks (especially since I've built the kit). Most impressive...then again, so are all of your Falcons.

Re: T-47 Seaspeeder (FM conversion)

Well, I decided to embed it permanently, mainly because I want the water to come up a good bit and the rear find jut forward too much to be easily removed. I tried embedding a styrene rod, but it was so stuck that it ripped half the water out when I pulled it out. The cellophane would have worked, e...

Re: T-47 Seaspeeder (FM conversion)

Thanks Nicholas. I have some faint water lines, and I'm sure I'll make more once I get closer to where I want the water to be. As far as the speeder goes, I think I'll just make it non-removable. The main problem is with the rear fins that dig into the water and are swept forward slightly. So, even ...

Re: T-47 Seaspeeder (FM conversion)

Still working on this beast. Though I have a 1/72 Falcon that I'm really feeling the need to start on. Weathered base (mostly using acrylics) http://www.rebelscale.com/wp-content/uploads/wip_seaspeeder10.jpg Close up of the weathered dock side. Again, I mostly used acrylics with a few AK/Ammo enamel...

Ditto!

I've had mine primed and ready for the red/white treatment...but I really don't feel like masking all of the patterns off.

Fine Molds Falcon box art print?

Does anyone know if you can get a print of the box art from the FM 1/72 Falcon? I tried the artist's name, but couldn't find anything.

Probably a little. I'll also tint the water, so you shouldn't see it.
