Re: 1/72 Republic Gunship with pods

Nice project. :) I want to convert this kit into the carrier version at some point. When looking at the pictures posted so far I cannot help but think that the CW Gunship´s fuselage is shorter and more plump than the Ep. II version´s. Did you take any measurements and do calculations? Maybe it´s ...

Re: 1/350 Zeta-class Imperial Cargo Shuttle

Awesome build! The model is quite small for my taste, so I´m really looking forward to seeing your 1/72 model. :) Right after he does a Ghost in 1:72 and the Coronet in 1:2256 and the Imperial Light Cruiser in 1:18..... If Nick builds the shuttle in 1/72 only after the ones you suggested, those mu...

Re: Blue Leader X-wing (Bandai 1/72)

Is the paint scheme fictituous or is it an X-Wing from Rogue One?

Anyway, the subtle weathering is awesome. I like the slight tonal variations on the nose - they´re so subtle that it´s hard to see them. Perfect for the scale, same as the chipping. You, Sir, know how to paint! :)

Re: TIE Bomber

HAZE straight up. It's a tad more blue in person. Did you use a rattle can? I got my hands on the last kit of the last batch SSM sold and plan to build it in a couple of weeks. I´d be very happy if it turns out anywhere near as nice as yours looks - the subtle weathering suits it perfectly, it loo...

Revell 1/50 Blue Leader T-70

Finally it´s done. :) I guess the strong Red Leader-influence is obvious... ;) Second time I´ve worked with metallic polishing powders. While they are easy to use, due to the necessary surface preparations, additional masking and the fact that sealing them would ruin their effect I definately pref...

Re: 1/72 Revell ARC-170 WiP

Nice work, the lighting is awesome. I built one of these back in 2005 but recently bought another one to 'do it right'. Actually I look forward to scratchbuilding the cockpit myself, but pictures of the aftermarket kit will serve as inspiration and reference. I´m eager to see yours finished - maybe...
