!/72 Slave 1 Canopy

Post by dano985 » February 19th, 2016, 3:41 am

Hi all,

Just about to finish my Jango Slave 1. I dipped it in Future.....Then for some reason it clouded...Not sure if there was somthing in the container that reacted with the future???? I still have one from my Boba Slave 1 that I am using. But now I am down a canopy.... Does anyone have an extra? Or the ability to cast one out of clear resin??? I would be willing to pay a fair price if anyone can do it.

Thanks!
Dan

Supposedly soaking the part in ammonia mixed with water or even just straight windex will loosen up the future so it can be removed.

Then you could try dipping it again in a new batch?

Might be worth a try
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

I've found that a re-dip in the future can often solve any issues. Hit it again!

If that doesn't pan out, use the ammonia trick, and then go for the future again. It'll fill in those spider cracks.
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!
