A pair of tartan cruisers 1:2256

Post by dark kyp » March 20th, 2014, 11:06 pm

Thanks a lot for the organization of this contest!
It's a pleasure to be on this forum, and an honor to model with you guys! :)

Here is my entry!

I will build those two tartan cruisers and add the lightning in them!

The base will be a town. :)

What's your lighting plan? I have no concept of how many lights something this size can support.
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!

Cool! Mine is still on the side on my shelve with removed paint. I have to repaint it cause the paint didn´t stick too well also with Tamiya Fine Surfacer. I ripped off all the paint with the Masking Tape. Maybe it was the glossy surface. Now i need to take out my sandblaster :D

Stefan - you managed to peel up Tamiya Surfacer? Wow. I thought that stuff was pretty indestructible.

There will be the 8 engines.
I will have to take a look in the game to see if there are some windows in it to go wit optic fibers!

THe stand will be lighted, too!
