Thanks guys!

Little update:
I cleaned the part and start to remove the little gaps in the reactors area.

I also started to create a base adding a tiny 1:2256e Blockade Runner! ;D

Thanks ;)

I have been quiet on that subject, but still have made some moves!
It will be hard to end this project in time, hope I will make it!

I have made some detailling on the landing zone and on the cities parts.
Created the base and also have tested the LEDs and way to hold the cruisers.

Here are some pics:

Are the Tartans going to be lit? Or just the base? Can't wait to see where you're headed with this... :D
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!

Lookin' really promising :-)
Can't tell which is easier... installing lighting into a smaller or a bigger model...

thanks guys!

The blue LEDs are for the tartan, the remaining ones are for the buildings! ;)

for me it's the little models which are the hardest to light... Install the LEDs is not the main problem, but how integrate the wires without seeing them at the end...

Having got one of these on my bench RIGHT NOW, I have no idea how you went about lighting it.

Pics, man! :D

:D :D :D I'll take some pics... ;)
In a few words: I glued the engines to the rear section, then I drilled the holes.

After that I removed lot of material from the inside of the ship to make the LED fit for the engines which are on the left and the right.

I didn't plane to light the cockpit, too tiny :P
