Shoot, the whole ship is too tiny to light! This is going to be cool. :)
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!

Wow. CRAZY cool!
I'm slooowly progressing o my own Tartan build and cant believe you're lighting it up!
The only area I can think of besides the engines that might get lit would be the huge cockpit/command deck at the very fore....but black would work fine there for the windows.

Really looking forward to what you come up with by way of that base too- and what paint scheme are you gong to make on the Tartans? Some of the game versions are pretty colorful from the references I've seen (though some are just "imperial white").

I don't think it will be possible, Im way to far from finish!

I added some plastic card to creat a support to glue the leds:

During the drilling process, I lost a reactor in the vacum cleaner... So I created a new one:

I'm using a beard cutter as power supply, 7.5V, 1200mA!
