New "Command" Figures

Post by dupes » October 24th, 2014, 11:42 pm

I was in Walmart late this morning and thought to check if they had the new Falcon and X-Wing in stock (no and yes)...while I was in the toy department, I came across the "Command" figure sets. Has anyone worked out what scale these guys are?

The castings are halfway decent (some way better than others), just wondering if they match up with any kits out there. My guess is that they're somewhere in between 1/48 and 1/32 - but didn't know if someone had already done the math.
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!

I was wondering this myself. I like the AT-ST which obviously isn't in scale with the figures, but I wonder which scale it is as well.

I took a look at Toys R Us yesterday, and they had a ton of them. I took a few measurements, and they appear to be around 1:24 or so. Chewie was a little short for 1:24, and luke/stormtroopers were tall for 1:24. Looks like box scale...

Jimi - how tall were the figs (say, like a Stormtrooper)? I didn't have a ruler or anything with me when I saw them at Walmart. Was really hoping that they work out to 1/32ish to go with the AAT, or 1/48 to go with some resin-y ground kits.

I took some photos when I saw these, too...I think they may be close to armor scale...

Where are you talking about - here? Or on the RPF somewhere?
