Ive read about 7-8 of the novels starting with the Courtship of Leia and found them addictive..as soon as I read one I had to get the next in line to see what happened. I also read one about bounty hunters..I cant remember the name of it, but it was individual stories from the bounty hunters perspective during ESB and ROTJ..I think it also covered some of the characters in Jabbas Palace..but it was an interesting reading..especially learning how Fett and IG-88 were constantly competing with each other. If your looking for the paper back novels, do a search on shopgoodwill.com you can find them rather cheap for a whole lot of them usually.

I've just recently read Chuck Wendig's Star wars: Aftermath. I believe it's a novel from 2014 or 2015. Not fantastic, but certainly not bad either. I was entertained. Anybody else read it?

Hey Del, I have a HUGE BOX full of just about every paperback (except for CW-era)...
If you want to pay for shipping I'll send them all to you :)

The Bounty Hunters book you mentioned was part of a "Tales of" line: Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina, Tales from Jabba's Palace, Tales of the Bounty Hunters, and Tales from the New Republic.

I also remember a Tales from the Sandcrawler, but I'm pretty sure I just imagined that one, because I want to read a book about all the droids!

I second the notion of the X-Wing books. I loved them! I've even built and (almost) finished painting the X-Wings from the Bacta War novel.

Anyway - I've read all the Legends books when they were called Expanded Universe. Some are not particularly good, but there are many great books in there. I do wonder if more people would have liked the new movies better if these books simply hadn't existed in the first place, because... expectations.

Wow, I forgot I even posted this thread. I picked up a 3 book set a couple of years ago, and still have not read them. :( Thanks for the offer, but I think they might be wasted on me. I seem to be reading as fast as I'm putting out new model kits, which isn't saying anything good.
