1/72 Kuat Systems "Dagger" Fighter

Post by dano985 » December 7th, 2014, 11:19 pm

Hello,

I got this kit awhile back and I think this is the perfect time to build her. I think it is a mercenary fighter from The Battle of Naboo video game. I will be doing an original paint scheme for this one. It is a very strange design, not symmetrical. Looks kind of like a cloakshape.... :?:

More to come as I get to work on her. Thanks for looking

Whaaaaaaat? I have never even SEEN this kit before. Extreme stash jealousy!

This is now officially on my "wants" list if you (or anyone else) has a spare. ;)
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!

This will be interesting - bought one myself some time ago. Despite what it says on the box, though, I'm pretty sure it is a 1/48 kit rather than 1/72. Haven't found a lot of reference material on it either - any idea of what sort of paint scheme you'll use?

Cool! There's not alot of reference material, I think Zarkus designed it from screen shots, so there was probably alot of guesswork to get the sizes right. So it might as well be 1/72nd!

Agreed, but any 1/72 scale pilot would be really lost in the cockpit.

Yes, it does look a little big for 1/72. But I am trusting the box art, maybe it was designed for larger life forms like wookies, ithorians, or trandoshans??

As far as a paint scheme goes its still up in the air. Though, the concept art for this ship has an interesting paint scheme....
