1/48 Z-'ceptor

Post by nicholassagan » December 8th, 2014, 4:06 am

OK I'm doing it. I'm just staking my claim right now. Need to finish up a MiG and a Cylon Raider first (among others...)

I'll be using a donated 1/48 Fine Molds X-Wing and an old AMT/MPC TIE Interceptor. Since I don't want to cut into any full Interceptor wings (I want to use them in combo with the AMT TIE Fighter balls), I'll be molding and casting the main fins. I might still light this up, too...not sure yet...

Don't make me wait TOO long, alright?
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!

I'm doing a little more research to see how other's have built it. Florjon has a good one:

Figure some cockpit lights, R2 fiber, a couple of orange LEDs in the engines and maybe a couple position lights? We'll see...
