The Force Awakens T-70 X-Wing in 1:72 Scale

Post by MidnightStorm » January 5th, 2016, 4:59 pm

I have started work on two Bandai 1:72 scale T-70 X-WINGS as seen in The Force Awakens. These newer models replaced the older T-65. I am doing one in standard paint and one as Poe's fighter in black. 8-)

I have slowly started work on the figures and painted a few random items before test fitting for lights.

I still need to choose my lights. I have Red Flickering LEDs (realistic action) vs Red/Pink solid LEDs (more movie screen accurate color). Thoughts? :?:

Here is how the red looks. Remember only look inside the nozzle. The outside will be painted and will not glow.

This is just the beginning. Nothing has been detailed or weathered yet!

Thanks for looking!

Limited information and photos this early, but I have been able to track down a few useful shots.

I'd go with screen accurate color...
