Working straight on the sprues here. Sprayed all the corresponding black parts Haze Gray, the panels black, the canopy frame Gunship Gray, and the interior Royal Light Gray. Gonna maybe red tint the clear canopy parts and try those but I kinda like the studio model style...

I'm interested to see how these look in the classic scheme

I think it will look pretty badass since it will showcase the surface detail better, more so than the black scheme which makes it harder to see them
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

Believe it or not it's almost done. I'm waiting for the wash to dry, then I'll apply the clear red, some touch up gray along the wing edges THEN flat coat. It's kind of a rush job but I like how it's turning out. I'll try and take some final pics Wednesday. I'm hoping to have the troopers done by then, too...

Awesome! I'm happy to see this in the "correct" color scheme! Makes the unique details pop, showing the differences between this and the original TIE's. The black paint scheme make it seem as though the only difference is the color.

Me likey!

:D

Looks so much better in those colors!

OK, home studio shots. Was home sick all week so I didn't have the energy to setup the full booth. I'd like to retake someday...but for now:
