Following on the Rebels TIE Fighter build, time for the Mining Guild TIE Fighter. Again it will be based on a Revell TIE Fighter ball and using left-over casting from the TIE Fighter build.
First step is the wings - sections cut out of both and a strip of styrene glued onto the cut edge as detail. Here they are, already painted black, masked, and painted Haze Grey:
Made a new piece for the back of the cockpit, which came out better than the earlier one for the Fighter:
Then on to the pilot - I started out with a casting of the Greedo figure from the AMT Cantina kit. I repositioned his legs (he was doing a bit of man-spreading), and filled in the open space between his jacket on the front:
Then a helmet was made using Aves:
After a bit of tidying up and white primer:
Next step painting the pilot and finishing off the interior

Re: Rebels Mining Guild TIE
Pilot now finished and installed in the cockpit, sitting on a cast of a Fine Molds set, as the Revell one is way too big.

Re: Rebels Mining Guild TIE
Thanks - he was fun to put together. First time I've tried sculpting a helmet like this - it was easier than I'd thought it would be.
