Family health issues kept me away from here last year at this time, so I missed this thread. I'd love to see where you're at with it, even if it's not finished. Now I'm going to pull mine out of the stash to drool over it.

Damn, I'm almost one year late! I have to get back at it!

I'm working a lot for the moty contest and it is about figures this year.

I will dig the outrider from the shelf. I'll keep you in touch ;)

Hello everyone,

I decided to end that model this year!
In the meantime, an upgrade came from Jimi for the cockpit!

Here is the moves on the cockpit:
Fiber-optic in the cokpit:

Very cool. How Do I get the cockpit upgrade? Just talk to Jimi?

Thanks for your comment. I got it from Jimi indeed. ;)

Thanks Donnie, yes I did. I use the characters from the echo base set and I modified them :)

Here are the next steps:

Wirring then closing the outrider.
It has been really hard not to break the optic fibers.

Then I glued the trench parts.
It was time for the paint: a flat black layer followed by a modified white:
I made a first coat of white, then only the panels.

Here are the next progress: I made the same for each color: masked the areas, add some maskol to achieve a worn effect and paint.

Maskol still under the paint:

Maskol has been stripped away:

Then I add the remaining decals:
