Great work such attention to detail. Much better than the sovereign kit. I can only hope that you decide to kit this.

Thanks very much; such kind feedback.

1st rough prime. The hexagonal cone; being such a taper was always going to show build lines, no problem. A few sessions of rubbing and priming should smooth those; I wont need to resort to filler or putty.

A coat of paint always brings out the details and shows up rough areas alike.

Looking good.

The details look so much better in that color
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

Actually enjoying this.
Picking out the details and corners. Rubbing with 400 wet.
The primer (rattle can) was a bit heavy.

Thanks and thanks for the link.

Hope this is ok to post.
If anyone is interested; those with 3d printers might be, I am looking to shift the files for 3d Printing. See Kickstarter, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/15 ... nav_search
If I reach my goal; I will be happy enough to not care what anyone does with the files or with printed parts - share them, kit them whatever - it wont matter to me, my time and interest will be covered.

Really pleased I decided to tool a few parts.
The wings (the parts I needed to tool) came out great but one snapped on demould and one has a small bubble.
The small wing mount I tooled just because it has a bit of detail.
The wing body part - rubbish - the tool ripped on demoulding the master and the casts show it.
Not bad for open moulds and just hand casting, I think.

This so desperately needs to be a kit!
