1/4222 Assault Frigate MK I

Post by utar.ships » July 26th, 2014, 2:40 pm

I've started work on the digital master for the Assault Frigate Mark I. The frigate is basically the cash strapped rebel's attempt to upgrade the old Dreadnaught. Since the ship is basically jerry-rigged there are many variations. I would like to eventually get to the six variants below. Types I and III would be mod kits for the original JPG Dreadnaught kits. The other variants will probably be completely new kits. The built kits would run from about 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 inches in length.

Dang. Those are COOL!

Been trying to stick to 2256 for the capital ships...these may change my mind for me. #walletpain
Need to build 30 models per year until I'm 90 to clean out the stash. Time to get cracking!

You are right! I always thought that picture was just a poorly drawn type V MK I but the more I look you are right. It looks like a cross between a MK I and MK II.

Correct, I am using your original digital model to make sure it matches the JPG dreadnaught
