SS E-Wing Mk I.5

Post by sci-fi-bldr » July 31st, 2016, 4:00 am

Done...... :D

In case you'd like to catch up...take a look back here... viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1749

Was a fun build...gotta admit I thought building a larger sized model would be easier....it wasn't for me...mostly in the painting and weathering area.

It was a nice kit...good detail.....cool subject. If I was to (and I'm not.. :P )going to do another one I'd like to work on narrowing up the rear end more...maybe even enclosing it.

But any whoooo.........here's the picture..

Thanks for looking in...and for following along in the other post.

I really love this. The design, the mods, the paint job...all of it works perfectly together. I even like the random blue areas you added that pop against the greenish blue stripes.

That's simply the best rebel fighter build I've seen all year- certainly the very best I've seen of this design!

Great paint with a perfect, subtle weathering that looks both plausible and completely "Star Wars".

Hell, someone needs to composite this alongside Poe's X-Wing skiming the water- it'd fit right in!

Bravo!

Awesome!

I'm glad you left off the silly cannon on top
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

Wow!
This thing looks pretty good!!!

I love the changes you did and also the paintwork on this E-Wing.
I hope that someday I can get my fingers on the 1/72 Version from JPG.
Untill I saw this one in the W.I.P. section, I wasn´t a fan of the E-Wing design...
But now I´m a huge fan of it!

Great work!
