1/72 E-Wing

Post by acesh007 » January 23rd, 2020, 5:31 pm

Worked on this over a few days stuck at home due to snow. I've had the kit for about a year now and wanted to sit down and build something. It was a pretty clean kit and I was trying to find references on paint schemes of E-wings but not a whole lot out there. I decided to do a Blue Squadron scheme based off of Rogue One.

I really hope one day to build a studio scale version of this as I think the E-wing is one of my favorite designs for SW fighters. Kit is still available I believe from Raymond Perez or think he goes by Galactic Resin on some other forums.

Great work!

I like it much better without that gun on top and I love the blue squadron markings!
If you have a tool and aren't aware of what it can do, its dangerous. A jedi can do amazing things with a lightsaber. A roomful of chimps with lightsabers... would get messy.

Nice - looks quite different to the old ModelAddix one (now sold by MVM). It would be interesting to see the two side by side one day.

I was trying to find a JPG kit and then actually bought a Bandai kit to modify as someone else on the forum started to do and then this kit popped up. Wish there was a larger scaled kit to build but it was quick and fun project.
